Posting here has been light for a while. Lately my writing time has gone to a new book on Hadoop. It will be published by Manning with the title Hadoop in Action. Yesterday Manning released it in their early access program. You can check it out and pre-order it at http://www.manning.com/lam/.

Honest Opinion: You book ROCKS!
I downloaded your few months ago, but got to spend yesterday reading through the entire ebook.
It’s hands down the best practical and most less-intimidating hadoop book out here.
Ton-White book is like the Pix-Axe of Hadoop and your’s is like “Get Up and Running” book…
Thoroughly enjoyed it and wanted to find your blog to pay the compliment as I wasn’t sure if you are active on twitter
